Is there a subscription?
No. You buy the sensor once — the PlantSense Connect app, alerts, and dashboard are free. No monthly fees, ever.
Do I need the app?
Readings, charts, and alerts live in the free app (on the App Store and Google Play) and the web dashboard at app.myplantsense.com. If you run Home Assistant, our free integration brings every reading into it too.
Indoors or outdoors?
Both. Kitchen herbs, houseplants, raised beds — anywhere with 2.4 GHz WiFi coverage.
